Re: Freedom of Information Law Request for Records
Dear Madam Clerk:
Under the provisions of the New York Freedom of Information Law, Article 6 of the Public Officers Law, I hereby request a copy of records or portions thereof pertaining to or containing the following:
Any written or electronic communication that took place during the time period 1 July 2018 to the present between any representative of the Mortimer and Mimi Levitt Foundation, aka the Levitt and Grant Awards, and any employee of the city of Utica or Michelle Truett in her role as representative of the city of Utica.
I understand there is a fee of $.25 per page for duplication of the records requested. (If the fee exceeds $100 , please contact me before duplicating the records.)
As you know, the Freedom of Information Law requires that an agency respond to a request within five business days of receipt of a request. In this particular case, due to the particular size of the request and the amount of time it might take your team to calculate the fee, please take all the reasonable time you need.
If for any reason any portion of my request is denied, please inform me of the reasons for the denial in writing and provide the name and address of the person or body to whom an appeal should be directed.

As we arrive at Beltane Eve Eve, three things are happening.
I finally discovered that if you write the Blogs before writing the schedule, Blogs don’t get interrupted. I know, I’m such an idiot. Only took 52 years to figure that out.
I found, thanks to a great Psychiatrist, LuVox. If you read the previous blog, you know all that. That only took 52 years too.
I checked my contract. I’m not allowed to set the world on fire just because it is Beltane Eve Eve but I am allowed to write blogs that will cause people not to talk to me, might cause a visit from the police, and end in public shame for a certain someone.
Monday April 29th: On balance, Dick’s is a great place to work. I love their customers. I just plan to steal the golfers. However, in some ways, Dick’s does not treat their employees very well. They had 3 weeks to address this after I left. They first reached out and then, silence. I guess they didn’t take me seriously.
Tuesday April 30th: You know how you list an address in your tax records?? Does it have to be a residential address?? Someone who complains about transparency all the time might not be using a residential address after all.
Wednesday May 1st (Glorious Beltane The fires are upon us): Remember when I messed up that “limited income project” at Harbor Point?? Those were good times. Well, identity politics and compare politics are about to run into each other again. Another waterfront property no less. Thankfully, both Compare sides were on the same side on this battle so the compare side that I like a little less can’t do anything to the compare team that I like a little more.
Thursday May 2nd: What do you do the day after Beltane?? You pay the cellphone bill for starters. Then you take a statue hostage. Well, more like the statue’s living room part of the time.
Friday May 3rd: Remember really early Easter morning around 4 am?? Remember how you were asleep?? Well, I wasn’t asleep. I was out taking pictures you will see in this post. Ran into the Easter Bunny. While he does have a “no social media” policy, he did pass along greetings. For the record, Santa has the same policy but just waves instead of saying anything. Must be tough at the top.
Please be aware, as we discovered many times, that this is only a schedule and real events can happen. However, I’m trying to get back to the old days where more Blogs appeared and not less.
