Re: Freedom of Information Law Request for Records

Dear Madam Clerk:

Under the provisions of the New York Freedom of Information Law, Article 6 of the Public Officers Law, I hereby request a copy of records or portions thereof pertaining to or containing the following:

Any written or electronic communication that took place during the time period 1 January 2018 to 1 December 2018 between, on one side, Ken Roser, Grant Roser, any employee of Roser Communications, any legal or public relations consultant hired by Roser Communications or Ken Roser and, on the other side, any member of the Common Council, the Mayor, Brian Thomas, or anyone directly supervised by Brian Thomas.  I am specifically looking for communications in written or electronic form concerning the parcel known as the “Aqua Vino property” or any similar nomenclature that may have been used.

I understand there is a fee of $.25 per page for duplication of the records requested. (If the fee exceeds $100 , please contact me before duplicating the records. )

As you know, the Freedom of Information Law requires that an agency respond to a request within five business days of receipt of a request.  In this particular case, due to the particular size of the request and the amount of time it might take your team to calculate the fee, please take all the reasonable time you need.

If for any reason any portion of my request is denied, please inform me of the reasons for the denial in writing and provide the name and address of the person or body to whom an appeal should be directed.
